Background Story
For centuries, the kingdom has told the same story.
A dragon takes a princess. The kingdom calls for heroes. Those brave enough to face the Dragon Slaying Trial may return with gold, glory, titles, and a name remembered for generations.
Most never return at all.
Now, another princess has been taken, and once again, warriors from across the realm are gathering. Some come to save her. Some come for fortune. Some hunger for fame, power, or something far more personal.
But as the journey unfolds, the story everyone grew up believing begins to fall apart.
Some legends survive because they are true.
Others survive because someone needs them to be.
